A man has been charged in connection with the discovery of a mortar bomb in Lurgan earlier this month.

The 21-year-old is charged with possession of an improvised explosive device and conspiracy to murder members of the security force.

He is also accused of possession of articles which could be of use to terrorists and is to appear in court in Craigavon on Thursday.

Two other men appeared in court on Tuesday after the find on 5 April.

A horizontal mortar was found at Cornakinnegar Road near the railway line in the town.
