Version 0 of 1.

A Kent head teacher has been found guilty of bullying staff and misconduct, while in charge of an Oxfordshire school.

The General Teaching Council upheld the complaints against Alan Klee, who is now head of Minster College, Sheerness.

The bullying and misconduct charges relate to his time at Carterton Community College, Carterton, which he resigned from in 2003.

Mr Klee has been told he can continue to teach with conditions.

He must complete a course in leadership and management of schools, and provide a report focusing on his relationships with staff and governors.

The committee upheld allegations that Mr Klee had bullied and intimidated staff, showed disregard for college policy, failed to advise and assist the governing body and prevented it from fulfilling its responsibilities.

But it rejected allegations that he behaved unreasonably and failed to engage with staff. It also dismissed separate complaints over his dealings with the governing body and parents.

Mr Klee can appeal against the decision.
