Man quizzed over woman's murder

South Wales Police are questioning a 37-year-old man on suspicion of murder after a woman's body at a house in Abercynon in the Cynon Valley.

The 32-year-old woman was discovered at her home in Gwendoline Terrace, after the case was reported at 0825 BST on Sunday.

The man was arrested later on Sunday morning and taken to a police station in south Wales for questioning.

A post mortem examination is to be carried out later.

An incident room has been set up at Mountain Ash police station.
