Boy charged over burns incident

The alleged victim, a 12-year-old boy, suffered 40% to 50% burns to his legs and lower body and remains in the burns unit of Swansea's Morriston Hospital. Police said the boy, who is now in a "serious but stable" condition, was attacked and sustained his injuries inside a garage near Aberdare. The 13-year-old is expected to appear in court on Saturday. The boy's injuries were initially thought to be life-threatening, but he has since responded to treatment. |
