The mother of a toddler who was sexually assaulted in Londonderry has warned parents to be vigilant. | |
The girl was assaulted by a man after being taken to a shed with a three-year-old boy on Wednesday afternoon. | |
According to the boy's mother he was not harmed, but saw what happened. | |
The girl's mother, who wants to remain anonymous, said she wanted the man caught before any more children were attacked. | |
"People wouldn't think that it would happen down here, but it has happened so it could happen again," she said. | |
"There is some dirty brute out there preying on children as young as three. | |
"Hopefully the police will catch him and he won't get away with it." | |
Community worker Talis Miller said parents were very worried. | |
