Man 'serious' after street attack

An 18-year-old man is in a serious but stable condition in hospital following an assault in County Antrim, police have said.

He sustained a head injury and bruising after being assaulted by another man on Hillhead Road, Toomebridge, at 0045 BST on Tuesday.

Police have said that CCTV footage is being examined.

They want to hear from anyone who was in the area of licensed premises on Hillhead Road at the time of the attack.
