Man given bail over wife's death

A 58-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder after his wife's body was found in their house on Merseyside, has been released by police.

Detectives were called to the house on Magazine Lane in Wallasey in the early hours of Saturday where they found the body of a 62-year-old woman.

Detectives are investigating whether retired accountant Frank Lund helped his wife Patricia to die.

He was released on police bail until October, pending toxicology tests.
