A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a hotel attached to the CNN Center complex in Atlanta. One person has died and another person is critically wounded after a shooting at the CNN Center complex in Atlanta.
At least two people were hurt in the incident, according to reports from US broadcaster CNN. It reportedly followed a row between a man and a woman. Atlanta police described the incident as a "domestic situation" involving a man who shot a woman after a row, the Associated Press news agency reports.
TV footage showed a suspect being held at gunpoint by police, and the wounded being taken away by ambulance. The armed man was shot by a CNN security guard, police said. It was not immediately clear which person died.

One of the people taken to Grady Hospital was pronounced dead on arrival, hospital spokeswoman Denise Simpson said.
CNN said the incident happened near the Omni Hotel, attached to the CNN Center.
Laura Bernardini, a producer for the television network, described how she had gone for lunch in the complex when she heard screaming and saw people running for cover.
"People were saying 'we've heard gun shots, we've heard gun shots'," she said.
As well as the CNN newsroom, the complex includes a large atrium and food court and is connected to Philips Arena, the home of the National Basketball Association's Atlanta Hawks.
