Terry Lubbock, 62, of Harlow, said he was puzzled by a police appeal for more information about his son Stuart's death at Roydon, Essex, in March 2001. Speaking on the sixth anniversary of the death, said: "I don't know why the police made the appeal. I don't know what's going on." He added: "I think they have let me down, and Stuart down." Stuart Lubbock, then 31, was among a number of people at a party at Mr Barrymore's home all of whom were interviewed at the time. A lengthy investigation was carried out by Essex Police but no-one was charged with any offence. Mr Barrymore accepted a police caution. In December 2006, Essex Police began a new inquiry into Mr Lubbock's death. |
