Massive delays after M4 accident Teenager injured in M4 collision

A road crash on the M4 is causing massive disruption for commuters. A 15-year-old boy suffered serious head injuries in a crash which caused major delays on the M4 on Wednesday morning.
Police shut the road between junction 12 and 13 between Reading and Newbury after a car overturned on Wednesday morning. Berkshire Police shut the road between junctions 12 and 13 - between Reading and Newbury - after the collision between a car and a lorry.
The motorway is expected to remain closed for several hours while the accident is cleared. It is not known if anyone was injured in the crash. Drivers had to be diverted off the motorway through Newbury onto the A4. At one stage there were 14 miles (22km) of tailbacks.
A diversion route has been set up along the A34 southbound and onto the A4 before returning to the M4. The motorway was reopened just before 1200 BST.
