Motorcyclist dies in road crash

A motorcyclist has died in a road accident near Lurgan in County Armagh, the police have said.

The name of the motorcyclist, who was male and aged in his 30s, has not been released.

His vehicle was the only one involved in the accident at 1415 GMT on Killysorrell Road near Blackskull between Lurgan and Dromore.

In 2006, 125 people died on Northern Ireland's roads, the Police Service of Northern Ireland said.
