Severe hypothermia
All three men worked at a pharmaceuticals factory in Inverness.
The skiers were overwhelmed by the weather on the Hardangervidda, Europe's largest mountain plateau, in the south west of the country.
A Red Cross rescue patrol found the group near a glacier, two miles from the safety of a cabin on 11 March.
Peter Wilson and Mr Ross were already dead and Rupert Wilson was suffering from severe hypothermia.
His son's funeral was held at Urquhart and Glenmoriston Church in Drumnadrochit on Wednesday.
