Cleaner denies judge 'blackmail'

A cleaner has returned to court to deny blackmailing one judge and stealing sex videos from another.

Brazilian Roselane Driza, 37, had been jailed for 33 months but her conviction was quashed following fresh evidence.

Ms Driza was jailed last October for blackmailing her former employer and stealing two videos. On Friday she denied both charges at the Old Bailey.

Next month the court will decide whether Ms Driza, from South Norwood, south London, will face a retrial.

Ms Driza is alleged to have blackmailed her former employer, known only as Judge J, for Â£20,000 between January and October 2005.

She is also alleged to have stolen two sex videos from Judge Mohammed Ilyas Khan.

Ms Driza was released on bail on Friday, to return to the Old Bailey on 20 April.
