Five youths have been arrested after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death in west London. Seven youths have been arrested after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death in west London.
The victim, who has not been formally identified, was found with a stab wound after a "disturbance" in Hammersmith Grove on Wednesday evening. Kodjo Yenga, of Portland Road in Notting Hill, was found with a stab wound on Wednesday evening. He died later in hospital.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said the boy was taken to Charing Cross Hospital where he later died. Police arrested the boys after the stabbing which took place following a disturbance in Hammersmith Grove.
Officers are questioning five boys at separate police stations and the scene of the attack has been cordoned off. All seven, aged between 13 and 21 years old, are now being quizzed at separate west London police stations.
Police have urged anyone with information about the stabbing, which happened at about 1715 GMT, to contact them.
