Robbers assault man at his house

A man has been attacked and robbed at his home in west Belfast.

Shortly before 0100 GMT on Sunday, the owner of a house on the Falls Road opened his door to three young men who demanded money.

After he refused they hit him in the face and pushed him back into his home where they assaulted him again.

The robbers then ran off with the victim's wallet and his mobile phone. Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
