Police had previously been treating the death as suspicious but following a post mortem examination they announced on Thursday that he had been murdered.Police had previously been treating the death as suspicious but following a post mortem examination they announced on Thursday that he had been murdered.
Detectives are at the scene where a mobile police station has been set up. Lead investigating officer Jeff Smyth appealed for the public's help.
"There is no sign of a struggle in Charlie Steed's house," he said.
"There is no sign of a break-in at the house, which in itself is suspicious to the police service."
