A jury has been discharged in the case of a teenager accused of shooting a youth club worker.

Marvin Alebiosu, 19, of Camberwell, south-east London, denies the attempted murder of Nargis Akhter and a youth aged 16, as well as a firearms charge.

Ms Akhter was said to have been shot in the back during a brawl outside Brandon Youth Club in Walworth last year.

Judge Ann Goddard told the Old Bailey jury that police had been unable to track down a key witness in the case.

Mr Alebiosu was remanded in custody.
