A fast food restaurant chain from the Republic of Ireland is to create 200 new jobs following a move into Northern Ireland.

Supermac's is investing £10m to acquire a number of sites.

The family-owned restaurant chain currently runs 80 fast food restaurants in the Republic of Ireland.

It employs more than 2,500 people. Company founder Pat McDonagh said the move was "hugely exciting" for the company.
