A fire has broken out on a train in the northern state of Haryana, causing many casualties, reports say. At least two people have been killed by a fire on a train in the northern Indian state of Haryana, police say.
Initial reports say a number of people have been killed. Nine people with burns have been pulled from carriages, a local police chief told the BBC, but firemen are still fighting the blaze.
The fire is believed to have started because of an electrical short circuit and is reported to have completely destroyed two carriages of the train. The train was travelling from the capital, Delhi, to Pakistan via the border crossing point of Wagah.
