Passenger dies in two-car crash

A passenger has died after a two-car collision near Llanidloes in Powys.

Dyfed-Powys Police said a Renault Clio was in collision with a Subaru Impreza on the A44 at Llangurig at about 1750 GMT on Friday.

A man in the Renault was taken to Bronglais Hospital at Aberystwyth, but died of his injuries.

Police appealed for any witnesses to the collision, or anyone with information, to contact them on 0845 3302000.
