Condolence book for toddler Casey

People in Leeds are being given the chance to sign a book of condolence in memory of toddler Casey Mullen.

Two-year-old Casey was found dead at her home in Oak Tree Crescent, Gipton, on 11 February following a disturbance outside the house.

Her uncle, Michael Patrick Mullen, 21, is charged with her rape and murder.

The Church of the Epiphany in Beech Lane, Gipton, will open between 1400 and 1600 GMT when people can sign a book of condolence and light candles.

Reverend Janet Highton said members of the church were deeply saddened by Casey's death and were praying for her family, friends and neighbours.

She said: "The church will be open for people to spend some time in peace and quiet and to have their own thoughts and prayers.

"There'll be members of the church alongside as well in case anybody wants to talk to us."
