Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after man who was hit by a car on Christmas Day died. A third person has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man who was hit by a car on Christmas Day died.

The force said two men, a 58-year-old of no fixed address and a 31-year-old from Blackburn, had been arrested on suspicion of murder. The force said a 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday evening, with a 58-year-old man of no fixed address and a 35-year-old man from Blackburn having also been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Police said the 58-year-old man had been released on conditional bail, while the other two men who were arrested remained in custody.
