Missing daughter prompts appeal Missing daughter prompts appeal
(about 13 hours later)
The parents of a woman who disappeared in Edinburgh 10 days ago are to appeal for information to help trace their daughter. The distraught parents of an Edinburgh doctor missing for 10 days have begged their daughter to get in touch and let them know that she is safe.
Susannah Ellis, 28, was last seen in the St Leonards area of the city on Sunday 4 February at 1100 GMT. Jim and Carol McLean said they missed the "good family times" with Susannah Ellis, 28, but understood she had been deeply unhappy in recent weeks.

Seeking clues Fears for her safety increased last week when her rucksack was discovered in a bin at a city pub.
A rucksack belonging to the missing woman has been found by police in the grounds of The Crags pub on Dalkeith Road. And her parents are worried she will become more and more anxious without her prescribed medication.
Police have been patrolling the area seeking clues about her whereabouts. Mr and Mrs McLean have made a direct, emotional appeal to their daughter, who is separated from her husband, to come forward.
Officers from the Lothian and Borders force have handed out leaflets and put up posters in St Leonards. "Susannah, no-one knows if you are OK," Mr McLean, 59, said.
"Susannah, life has been difficult for you recently and we understand how deeply unhappy and frustrated you have been.
"We also understand that, at present, you feel that you don't want to tell anyone where you are.
"We miss you very much. We miss your company and the good family times we all have together.
"We are very worried about you."
