Owner Jasveen Pendaer said the incident, which happened in New Bedford Road, Luton, at about 01:40 GMT on Tuesday, caused damage estimated at about £80,000. She described hearing a bang and her windows shattering and said it was "part of a bullying attack on me as a female trying to run a business". Ms Pendaer, who trades as Mr & Mrs Whippy with a business partner, said she had previously given CCTV footage of people coming to her house "to bully me" to the police and recorded them threatening arson. "It angers me, I feel violated," she added. Bedfordshire Police said it believed a "number of previously reported incidents" were connected to the arson and formed part of its investigation. A force spokesperson said: "Officers are pursuing multiple lines of inquiry into these incidents, as well as working with the victim to provide the appropriate safeguarding and support."
