Camelot theme park, which closed 12 years ago, reopens with clowns and scary ghosts

An abandoned theme park has been turned into a scare city in time for Halloween.

The former Camelot site near Chorley, Lancashire, has been transformed by events firm One Events into a "horror experience" filled with ghouls and ghosts.

The original theme park at Charnock Richard closed 12 years ago and has reopened with seasonal sights and frights.

One Events' Paul Butterworth said people who knew the park had come back for the experience, which includes lots of "jump scares".
