Eight people are thought to have been injured in an incident involving a land train in Cornwall, police have said. Ten people are thought to have been injured after a land train with passengers on board tipped over.

"Eight people are believed to have been injured, but none of their injuries are thought to be critical or life-changing at this stage," said a police spokesperson.

Looe Land Train said: "The carriage of the land train tipped over and a number of its passengers have been injured."
'Devastated'
The company said it understood from the emergency services that 10 people were being treated at local hospitals.
On Wednesday, police initially reported that eight people had been injured.
Looe Land Train said, external: "We also understand that none of these injuries are critical nor life threatening.
"At this time, the cause of the accident is unknown.
"No other vehicles were involved.
"We will be fully co-operating with any investigation by the authorities.
"As a family business we are devastated by tonight’s accident and our thoughts are with all of those injured or impacted."
