Fire tackled at secondary school

Fire crews have tackled a blaze at a secondary school in Hampshire.

The fire started on Sunday evening at Hardley School, Holbury, and a fire service spokesman said it tore through a ground floor classroom.

Crews, with seven engines including a specialist unit from Southampton, attended the New Forest school.

No one is thought to have been injured in the blaze. The cause of the fire is not yet known and investigators are working at the scene.
