Attack leaves girl critically ill

A teenager is in a critical condition in hospital after being attacked at a flat in east London.

The victim was discovered when an emergency call was made from the property in Walthamstow in the early hours of Sunday.

She had suffered serious head injuries and was taken to hospital where she is in a life-threatening condition.

Police have appealed for anyone who knows anything about the attack to contact them.
