The aircraft came down in a field off Langrick Road, which runs alongside the perimeter of the RAF station.
An RAF spokesperson said: "We are aware of an incident in the vicinity of RAF Coningsby involving an RAF aircraft.
"We are working with the emergency services and supporting those involved. An update will be provided in due course."

The spokesperson confirmed the aircraft had not come down at RAF Coningsby, which is the home of the RAF's Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF). RAF Coningsby is the home of the RAF's Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, external (BBMF).
However, it is not known if the aircraft belonged to BBMF.
According to its website, BBMF operates six Spitfires, two Hurricanes, a Lancaster, a C47 Dakota, and two Chipmunk aircraft used for training.
