A murder investigation is under way after a 15-year-old boy was shot dead in south-east London. A teenage boy has been shot dead in his bedroom after two men forced their way into his home in south-east London.
Officers were called to an address in Diamond Street, Peckham, at just after midnight on Tuesday, where they found the teenager with gunshot wounds. The 15-year-old victim was attacked at the house in Diamond Street, Peckham, just after midnight.
He was taken to Kings College Hospital where he later died. His sister, who was also in the house, called 999 but her brother later died at King's College Hospital.

Police say they know the identity of the teenager but are still to inform the next of kin. Two murders

The shooting follows two other murders in the area over the weekend.
On Saturday, a 21-year-old man was stabbed to death in the adjacent road to Diamond Street, Southampton Way.
In the early hours of Sunday a man in his 40s was shot dead and another injured at a flat less than a mile away in Flamborough House, Clayton Road.
Police have not said whether there is any link between the incidents.
