Facebook party youths dispersed

More than 100 youths have been dispersed by police after they tried to attend a house party in Cambridge advertised on the website Facebook.

Residents alerted police after the large group started causing trouble in the Orchards, Cherry Hinton, on Friday.

There were no arrests but the incident took nearly three hours from 2100 BST.

Insp Terry Furlong, of Cambridgeshire Police, warned Facebook users to take more care over how they advertised parties on the site.
