Version 0 of 1.

A youth sexually assaulted a teenage girl and then kissed her five-year-old sister as they travelled on a bus, police have revealed.

The indecent assault happened when the girls were travelling to Drumchapel, Glasgow, on a number 40 First bus at about 1845 GMT on Friday, 25 January.

Detectives said the youth involved poured alcohol over the teenage girl and her sister after the incident.

The officers have been anxious to find witnesses to the attacks.

The sex attacker got off the bus at Drumchapel shopping centre in the company of a younger teenager, who police want to speak to.

'Throwing alcohol'

Det Con Helen Young said: "Numerous enquiries have been ongoing since this incident in an effort to trace the male responsible.

"I am anxious to speak to anyone who was travelling on that bus, noticed the male approaching the girls, or throwing alcohol about the bus to come forward.

"I would also like to speak to the second male who got off the bus with the suspect."

The suspect was in his late teens, had brown short hair, a spotty complexion and was very skinny, police said.

He was wearing a brown jumper and dark trousers, which may have been jeans.
