The same man is believed to be behind three sex attacks in south-east London, detectives have revealed.

The most recent attack was on a 25-year-old woman on her way to work in Hornefare Road, Greenwich, at about 0615 GMT.

A man grabbed her from behind, forced her to the ground and sexually assaulted her.

The same man is believed to have struck on 15 and 22 January in Beverley Road and in Crooklog, both in Bexleyheath.

In each case, the women were wearing skirts, police said. None of them needed hospital treatment.

The suspect is described as white, aged about 20, between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins and of slim build.

Officers are advising women walking alone to be vigilant.
