Version 0 of 1.

A teenager allegedly subjected a woman and her six-year-old daughter to a harrowing rape and sexual molestation ordeal, a court has been told.

Kyle John Thompson, 18, of Ballymacormick Road, Dromore, is accused of false imprisonment, rape and indecently assaulting the woman.

He is also accused of indecently assaulting and committing an act of gross indecency with her daughter.

Mr Thompson told Craigavon Crown Court he denied the charges.

The jury heard how the 22-year-old mother woke to find Mr Thompson wielding a knife in her son's bedroom.

He is alleged to have told her that he would kill her children.

The prosecution said the mother then ran out of the house but the defendant dragged her to a bed and raped her.

He then allegedly continued the attack when her daughter came into the room.

The prosecution also alleged that the defendant also attacked the child.

The court heard that when interviewed by police, Mr Thompson claimed he had met the woman earlier that evening and had gone to her house where they had consensual sex.

He also claimed the mother had also asked him to mind the child for a couple of seconds before coming back into the room and accusing him of rape.

The trial continues.
