Man charged with club car killing

A man has been charged with the murder of a 25-year-old man who was hit by a car outside a south London nightclub.

Gary Johnson, from Streatham, died from head injuries after he was hit by the car in the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday.

The suspect, who has not been named, was arrested after being treated for a gunshot wound outside the Ministry of Sound nightclub in Southwark.

He will appear before Greenwich Magistrates' Court later.
