The long-term partner of a widow found dead at her home more than a year ago has appeared in court charged with her murder. | |
David Henton, 71, appeared before Swansea magistrates on Wednesday, more than a year after Joyce Sutton, 65, was found dead at Skewen in January 2006. | |
Mr Henton, of Parc Wern in Neath, spoke to confirm his name and date of birth. | |
He was released on bail with the condition that he lives at an address in Devon. | |
The case was adjourned until 9 February when Mr Henton will reappear at Swansea Crown Court. | |
Officers had made a new appeal for information on the first anniversary of Mrs Sutton's death - 11 January. | |
