Police have been given more time to question two suspects arrested on suspicion of two murders in Suffolk.

The bodies of Rosalyn Hunt, 41, and Desmond Thorpe, 43, was discovered at separate addresses in Ipswich on Sunday and the early hours of Monday.

On Tuesday night magistrates granted police a further 26 hours to question a 15-year-old girl and a 41-year-old man arrested on suspicion of both murders.

A man, 27, was arrested on Tuesday over the murder of Ms Hunt, police said.

Ms Hunt had been found at her flat in Victoria Street. A post-mortem examination found the cause of death as trauma to the body.

Tests on the body of Mr Hunt, who was found in Limerick Close, were inconclusive.
