Teen in court over Twelfth riot

A 17-year-old youth is due in Belfast Youth Court later in connection with disturbances in the Ardoyne area of Belfast on 13 July. The teenager is charged with possession of petrol bombs, throwing petrol bombs at police, riotous assembly and disorderly behaviour. Shots were fired and petrol bombs thrown at police after the annual Twelfth march passed through Ardoyne. A PSNI spokesperson said the teenager was arrested on Tuesday. |
