Did your company just add salary information to job posts?
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/11/01/us/did-your-company-just-add-salary-information-to-job-posts.html Version 0 of 1. Starting Tuesday, nearly all employers in New York City are required to include a salary range in their job posts, whether they advertise jobs on an online job board, in a job fair flier or on an internal bulletin board. At most companies, complying with the new law will require a change. Existing employees may suddenly find out how their salary compares with those of new recruits. Executives may face a flood of questions about whether they’re paying fairly. And job seekers may realize that the salary they’ve been asking for is higher, or lower, than what companies expect to pay. The New York Times is reporting a story on the impact of the new law. Whether you are an employee in New York City at a company that just published salary information on job posts, are a job seeker or are a manager at a company that is complying with the law, we’d like to hear from you. We will not publish any part of your submission without contacting you first. We may use your contact information to follow up with you |
