Victoria has worked as a mental health nurse in an NHS trust for three years. She did a second degree to retrain, having previously worked in a lab and before that was in the navy.
"My love for it [the job] was to make a difference in people's lives and that's why I'm here. But then sometimes when I look at it, it's like, is it really worth it?" she says.
After coming back from maternity leave she went part-time and receives universal credit because she says her pay wouldn't cover the cost of childcare if she worked full-time.
Even now, she struggles.
"Sometimes you end up having not enough money to feed yourself or even feed your children. If I'm going to work and I'm making a difference in people's lives then I feel like I should be able to be compensated and have enough pay for myself to sustain myself and look after my children."
