The Accounts Commission is to meet to discuss Aberdeen City Council's progress as it tries to sort out its management and finances. A Controller of Audit's progress report praises the council for beginning to turn around its finances, following a critical inquiry last year. It called for a string of major changes including a new chief executive and new organisational structures. However, the new report warns the financial position remains challenging. |
