Michael Jackson's family have arrived at a funeral home for a private ceremony ahead of the late pop star's memorial service in Los Angeles. Michael Jackson's golden coffin is en route to the Staples Center in Los Angeles, where fans have gathered to say their goodbye to the pop star.
They will attend a short religious ceremony in accordance with their Jehovah's Witness beliefs, the Rev Jesse Jackson told the BBC. A star-studded memorial service is due to start at 1000 LA time (1800 BST), with artists such as Mariah Carey and Stevie Wonder lining up to pay tribute.
Later, the singer's coffin will travel to the Staples Center, where thousands of fans have gathered to say goodbye. The singer's family will also be there, having attended a private funeral ceremony earlier in the day.
Artists including Stevie Wonder and Mariah Carey will play at the event. Millions of fans around the world are expected to watch the memorial on TV.
