Police are looking for a man who punched a 85-year-old woman in the face after breaking into the flat where she lives alone in Swansea. The daughter of an 85-year-old woman punched in the face by a burglar in her own flat has condemned the "cowardly and brutal" attack.

Mrs Gill, 64, said: "There have been break-ins around the flats before, and drug problems over the last few years, so she was always nervous and slept in the sitting room with the bedside table behind the door.
The attacker was around 6ft (1.83m) tall, wearing light coloured jeans and a dark coloured hooded top with the hood over his head. She has a big lump under her eye and her forehead is bruised as well Christine Gill
