Version 0 of 1.

A cat is recovering after an operation to remove a crossbow bolt from its chest and an inquiry is underway in West Norfolk to find who shot him.

The bolt narrowly missed the vital organs of the one-year-old animal, whose owners live in Terrington St Clement, near King's Lynn.

The cat went missing from home on 2 June and returned eight days later.

He was treated by Mill House Surgery in King's Lynn who said the cat's skin had started to grow over the bolt's shaft.

The RSPCA who have been called in, are helping the family to pay for vet's fees and are carrying out inquiries to find the person responsible.
