A man who suffered life-threatening injuries in a fall from a bridge on to the M11 in Essex had earlier crashed his car, police have said. | |
A police spokesman said the man fell on to the northbound carriageway from the Central Line railway bridge in Chigwell at about 0700 BST and was hit by a van. | |
He said the 21-year-old student from Uxbridge, London had injuries from the crash before he fell from the bridge. | |
