Turkish police have arrested a man in connection with the killing of prominent Turkish-Armenian journalist Hrant Dink, Turkish officials say. The main suspect in the murder of Turkish-Armenian journalist Hrant Dink has been arrested, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said.
Earlier, Turkish authorities said they were looking for Ogun Samas, who was reportedly identified by his father after seeing his picture on television. The governor of Istanbul said police captured Ogun Samas at a bus terminal in the Black Sea port city of Samsun.
Mr Dink, 53, had written extensively about the mass killing of Armenians by Turks during World War I. Mr Samas was earlier named as the suspect pictured in CCTV images from near the scene of the killing.
