Family members die in car crash Family road deaths investigated

A husband and wife and their 19-year-old son have been killed in a crash in Caerphilly county which caused another woman to lose her unborn child. Police are continuing to investigate a road accident in Blaenau Gwent in which three members of the same family died.
Andrew Willliams, 45, Elaine Williams, 44, and son Craig, all from Ebbw Vale, died in the crash between Crumlin and Abertillery, late on Friday. A husband and wife and their son were killed in the crash between Crumlin and Abertillery late on Friday.
An 18-year-old woman, a passenger in their Renault Clio and also from Ebbw Vale, remains critically ill. Andrew Williams, 45, Elaine Williams, 44, and 19-year-old Craig were from Ebbw Vale.
Police said six people were involved in the collision. An unnamed 18-year-old woman who was a passenger in their Renault Clio is now in a stable condition after losing her unborn child.
A Gwent police spokesman would not give details of the 18-year-old woman's relationship to the Williams family.

Investigators have appealed for witnesses to the incident to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 01633 643091. In November last year, four teenage girls from Ebbw Vale were killed in a car crash on a mountain road near the town.
Friends Danielle Caswell and Katie Roberts, who were 15, and Louise Jones and Kayleigh Parry, both 16, all died at the scene.
