One dead and three hurt in crash Two killed in two road accidents

An 18-year-old man has died and three other people have been injured in a three-vehicle crash in Cornwall. Two people have died in two separate road collisions in Cornwall.
Police and the fire brigade were called to the collision at Winnards Perch on the B3274, near St Columb Major, at about 2230 BST on Wednesday. A woman from the Helston area died in a crash between a bus and a car on the B3297 between Redruth and Helston on Wednesday afternoon.
One of the vehicles caught fire after the crash. Later the same day an 18-year-old man died and three others were injured in a three-vehicle crash at Winnards Perch on the B3274.
The road is still closed and an investigation is being carried out. Police have warned drivers to stay away from the area. Both roads were closed for several hours to allow accident investigators to examine the scenes.
Scene examined The single-decker bus and car collision occurred at about 1455 BST.
The collision involved a Rover Mini, a Renault Scenic and a Volkswagen Polo, police said. The female passenger of the car, a Vauxhall Astra, died at the scene. The driver, a 58-year-old man, was taken to Treliske with serious leg and chest injuries. Both are from the Helston area.
One passenger on the bus suffered minor injuries.
