The body of a Scottish man discovered in the Netherlands has been formally identified, the Foreign Office has confirmed. | |
A spokeswoman said the man had been named as Jonathon Kennedy from Ayr. | |
Mr Kennedy was thought to be in his late 20s and had been working in Amsterdam for about a year. He had been missing for about two-and-a-half weeks. | |
A spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police said its officers were in contact with the man's relatives. | |
A spokeswoman for the Foreign Office said: "I can confirm that the body has been identified as Jonathon Kennedy. His next of kin have been informed. | |
