Police said the fire was not being treated as suspicious. Two fire appliances from Limavady and one from Dungiven attended the incident.
Three fire appliances, one from Dungiven and two from Limavady , attended the incident. Eamon Gallagher from the Fire Service said the family had managed to get out of the property when he had arrived.
"When we arrived there was bedroom fire which was well developed in the property," he said.
"They had got themselves out but unfortunately the young girl had sustained certain injuries and sadly passed away in hospital."
"It's a very tragic situation and our thoughts are with the family at this stage," he added.
